Yield of Dreams: Rare Honus Wagner Card Sells for $1.32 Million

Honus Wagner greatest claim to fame is that his image adorns perhaps the oldest collectible on the planet.  Records are broken and heroes forgotten. Honus' baseball card image is 100 years plus already. His card recently sold for 1.3 million at The Robert Edward Auctions, however last year another card with more wear and tear sold for 2.13 million. The card has become legend among collectors.
Legend has it that fewer than 200 cards of the Hall of Fame shortstop were produced because Wagner was not happy with the card's producer the American Tobacco Company and the smoking message it sent to children. Wagner, however, smoked and endorsed cigars, leading some to believe he was merely upset with not being paid for his image.
